Tangent Labs is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Tangent Labs application ("the App").

Tangent Labs does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the App. Access is provided through a licence-based model tied to your purchase or download — not to a personal account. This means:
To support licence activation and verification, the App generates a random anonymous identifier stored securely in the system Keychain. This identifier is not linked to any personal information and cannot be used to identify you as an individual. It is used solely to validate your licence across sessions and is retained only for as long as your licence remains active.

All data collected is fully anonymous — it cannot be used to identify you as an individual. No personal information is attached to or inferred from this data. We currently collect this data in partnership with TelemetryDeck, a privacy-preserving analytics service. Anonymous analytics data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above.
Our website () uses analytics to understand traffic patterns and improve the browsing experience. This includes services such as Google Analytics, which we configure to minimise data collection. Data such as page views, session duration, and referral sources may be collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. These services are not used to identify individual users.
Tangent Labs does not integrate with third-party advertising or tracking services within the App. Analytics partners (such as TelemetryDeck) are used solely for the purpose of improving the App and website experience. We do not sell, share, or rent any data to third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.
Your preferences and personal data are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any external server. Anonymous analytics events are transmitted to our analytics partners as described above.
Tangent Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The anonymous analytics and licence identifier described in this policy do not constitute personal information and cannot be used to identify any individual, including minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
